We will be closed for holidays from December 31 thru January 15, 2012.  It was our pleasure to meet so many wonderful people in our travels this year and hope to see you again in 2012.

What a rush! Last weekend we were at the Canadian Country Music Awards in Hamilton. We were honoured to be sponsors of the Back Stage Gift Lounge where we met tons of country music stars and gave them Ear Curls. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised— they were all fun, down-to-earth, great people. We also attended the live taping of the awards show and were really impressed by all of their performances. Be proud; we have some really talented country music artists in Canada.

If we start to list all of the stars who came by our table we know we’d miss someone, and we don’t want to do that. What we will do is put up a selection of photos showing Shirley and some of the stars who graciously posed with her. The Back Stage Gift Lounge was a very busy place, especially on the second day. Between meeting the stars, presenting them with our jewellery, and taking pictures, it was non-stop. It just wasn’t possible to talk to everyone. Some pictures can be seen on our Facebook page.

Next weekend we’re off to the Vancouver Gift Expo (wholesale), so we don’t have much down-time right now. We’ll let you know more about that when we return.

Just finished the Classic Boat Festival and Blues Bash at the Victoria Inner Harbour at Ship Point Night Market. Good crowds, great music, and fabulous old boats. Met old Pender friends - John, Linda & Rick. A good time was had by all.

Nex weekend we're off to the Canadian Country Music Awards Backstage Gift Lounge in Hamilton, Ontario to gift the stars with our jewellery! Can't wait to get there.
